Shoot — Film
Films that earn their runtime.
Brand films, product films and process films — shot, graded and delivered in every format your team needs.
The problem
Most brand films are made to exist rather than to be used. They are approved by committee, run two minutes longer than anyone watches, and end up on a website page nobody visits because the sales team cannot find a thirty-second cut to put in an email. The film was never scoped against where it would actually be deployed, so it fits nowhere in particular.
What you get
- Brand and company films, scoped against where they will actually be used
- Product and process films — how something is made, or how it works
- Interview and testimonial pieces
- Social cuts delivered alongside the master, not as an afterthought
- Colour grade consistent with your existing visual material
- Delivery in H.264 for web, ProRes for archive, and a compressed social cut
How it works
We ask where the film will be deployed before we ask what it should say, because a piece for a trade stand and a piece for a sales email are different films and pretending otherwise produces one that works for neither. Shooting favours practical light and real locations over a studio build. The edit is deliberate — shots hold three to five seconds before cutting, because people need a beat to register what they are looking at. Every deliverable ships in the formats your team actually uses, cut at the point of edit rather than reformatted later by someone else.
Technical detail
Capture and light
Practical-source lighting wherever the location allows. Warm tungsten or golden hour for product work, hard directional light for technical and workspace shots because the shadows add depth. A setup the owner does not recognise makes their own premises look like someone else's.
Edit and grade
Deliberate pacing — three to five seconds per shot before a cut. Warm shadows, slightly desaturated midtones, lifted blacks. Never a flat grade or the cold-blue industrial look, which makes small-batch work read as mass production.
Delivery
H.264 for web, ProRes for archive, and a compressed social cut, in 16:9 and the vertical crops your channels need. Captions supplied as a sidecar file so they can be edited without going back to the edit suite.
What's not included
- Broadcast and cinema advertising. Different crew scale, different compliance, different budget — we will refer you to people who do it properly.
- Talent casting and management. We will direct who you bring; sourcing actors is not our service.
- Motion graphics as a standalone deliverable. We produce the graphics a film needs, not an animation package on its own.
Where we hand off, we tell you before the invoice arrives — not after.
