The problem

Product photography usually fails in one of two directions. Either it is shot on a white sweep with such clean light that a hand-made product reads as mass produced, or it is shot on a phone against whatever was behind it and reads as unfinished. Both undermine the same thing: the reason someone would pay more for this than for the supermarket alternative.

How it works

We shoot where the thing is made wherever that is possible, because the context is most of the argument for a small producer. Lighting leans on practical sources already in the room, with fill only where the shot genuinely needs it. Composition is asymmetric and the subject is rarely dead centre — negative space is used on purpose rather than cropped out later. The full set is graded together so a catalogue reads as one shoot, and every image is delivered in every crop your channels use, cut properly rather than centre-cropped by a CMS.

Technical detail

What's not included

• Large-scale studio productions with sets and crew. We work lean and on location; a built set is a different service.
• Stock library creation. We shoot to a brief; we do not produce volume libraries priced per image.
• Retouching that changes what the product is. We will remove a distraction, not a flaw that a customer will find in the box.

Where we hand off, we tell you before the invoice arrives — not after.
